Another close-up photo of an Olive Thrush, Turdus olivaceus, in the Ghion Hotel. This time, I got it sitting on a path sign in front of a palm tree. Judging from the bits of mud still on its beak, this bird was just back from digging. It was during the rainy season in Addis Ababa, making it a prime time for Thrushes to search for worms.
