A flock of Helmeted Guineafowl, Numida meleagris, was found feeding on the ground, in Maasai Mara National Reserve. The birds are commonly seen on savannas and in woodlands. Living in groups, they take turns in keeping their heads up, to spot out approaching danger. However, they are quite unconcern about the presence of humans, which allowed this close-up photo.
