A Lovely Thomson's Gazelle
Scene: When I was walking along Lake Oloidien with several Nature Kenya birders, a young female Thomson's Gazelle (Eudorcas thomsonii) caught my eyes. In contrary to the nature of the shy Thomson's, she was totally unconcerned with our approaching steps and even more surprisingly wandered around us in a graceful manner, probably driven by her growing confidence and curiosity. When I took this photo, I was only about a meter away. She was all by her own, away from her herd.
